The Race in Review

I realize now, a week later, that I never posted about the Chase Corporate Challenge! Well, I did it. I completed all KKKKKs and I did it in 38 minutes and 42 seconds. Actually, I did it in even less time because that's counting all the time my fleet was waiting to cross the start line.

While I was fine on Friday, Saturday my quads hurt a little bit, but it wasn't too bad. All in all, I would do it again =)

On Tuesday this week, Lauren and Kathleen took the NU shuttle bus down and we all ate together at the Cheesecake Factory. I had Evelyn's Favorite Pasta, and I think it's her favorite for good reason. When it came time for dessert, I ordered tiramisu and I think they should stick to what they do best: cheesecake. While it wasn't bad, it wasn't the best I've had either. And they doused it in whip cream. I'm not a hater of whip cream, but is half a pound of the fluffy stuff really necessary?

Unfortunately, by the time we stopped gabbing and paid the bill, Lauren and Kathleen had missed the 8:15 shuttle home and there wasn't another shuttle for an hour. We made the best of the situation and shopped at Water Tower. Lauren, of course, brought her shopping mojo with her and I ended up buying 4 shirts and a dress! All in all, it was a perfect night.
