You know you haven't posted in a while when... your friends email you saying you should start back up again. I wish I could say I've been super busy, but that's only half true. Quick catch-up: Guitar last Monday, San Bruno Tuesday and Wednesday, disastrous homemade mac & cheese on Friday, Duffy's with the D Chis +1 on Saturday, Sunday best chai of my life at cafeneo and the end to a great weekend Sunday, and guitar again last night. I didn't want to go to guitar last night, because I had a work-related headache, but I'm glad I went because Jeff and I had a state of the union. I told him I needed to go back to the basics rather than continuing to trudge my way through songs above my level. We had a great lesson and I'm so excited to practice this week. I might go shopping for a metronome... we'll see. Speaking of shopping, I am going shopping tonight. Shopping for shampoo that is. I don't know why, but I love shopping for shampoo. It's a chance to smell all the wonderful smells and analyze the exact characteristics of my hair. Yeah, strange, I know.
