Fun Facts

This past Friday my friend Adam held a small game/snacks/drinks get together. My roommate suggested we all play a game where we all write down and then guess random facts about each other. Here were my three facts:

1) If I could master any sport, it would be ultimate Frisbee
2) When I was little I told everyone that my Dad made stickers for a living
3) If I had to get a piercing anywhere, it would be in my eyebrow

Then this morning my roommate told me something about myself that I never knew: I am a tegestologist - or someone who collects beer coasters. What I will do with these coasters, I'm not sure. But whenever I go to a new bar, a coaster gets swiped without fail.

The rest of the weekend just kept getting better from there. Saturday Jon and I went downtown to enjoy the nice weather and a little Michigan Avenue action. After realizing it was 6pm we grabbed dinner at CPK and then went home to get ready for a night out. The night out started with beer pong (muscle memory is an interesting phenomenon), a brief rendezvous at the Violet Hour (bleh), and a retreat to Pint where we ended the night several hours later with Jon's friends.

Sunday involved a long overdue trip to Red Hen Bread, thrift store shopping, and lazy Sunday lounging.

"A Brief Treatise on Social Media Websites and Their Impact on Communication & Relationship Status."
It's interesting how social media is not only changing the way we communicate, but also the way we make relationship status "official." I had to text Heidi and Lauren late last night (after another wonderful weekend) to let them know this update before they saw it on a Facebook newsfeed today.
