"Left Temple Laceration"

I woke up this morning thinking I knew how the day would go. Big breakfast of blueberry muffins (thanks Lesley) followed by lunch, blood donation, take-out for dinner, and a movie.

Well, that's pretty much how the day went except you have to squeeze a trip to the ER in there as well. After giving blood, they have you sit in this little lobby area where you drink juices high in sugar and eat crackers with peanut butter. Despite feeling fine during and immediately after the donation, all the sudden the "I'm about to pass out" sensation flooded. When I fell, I landed on my glasses, producing a one inch cut underneath my left eyebrow. Lesley accompanied me to the hospital and in lieu of stitches they literally glued my eye back together: Dermabond is wonderful stuff and I highly recommend it.

I can't wait to see what my face looks like tomorrow. And to think, I was fitted with contacts only last night. Stupid glasses.
